England batsman Ollie Pope ruled out of Ashes

England have been dealt a blow ahead of the third Ashes Test after Ollie Pope was ruled out of the remainder of the series with a shoulder injury.

On Sunday, England went 2-0 down in the best-of-five series as they <a href="/cricket/england/ashes/result/england-fall-short-of-record-run-chase-despite-ben-stokes-heroics_517541.html">suffered a 43-run defeat at Lord's</a>, albeit in controversial circumstances.
