    Barcelona are under pressure to make some first-team sales during this summer's transfer window due to their ongoing financial issues, and a number of high-profile players have been linked with exits.

    The Catalan outfit are expected to be active themselves, but for that to happen, departures will need to occur, and it is shaping up to be a fascinating transfer market for the club.

    Hansi Flick is now in charge of Barcelona, and he will be working closely with president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco during the summer window.

    Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has confirmed that he wants to bring a new central midfielder to Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window.

    Ten Hag's future with the Red Devils remains unclear, but the Dutchman is planning for next season, and he has identified central midfield as a priority position for the upcoming market.

    Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek could all leave this summer, while Sofyan Amrabat's loan deal from Fiorentina is not expected to be made permanent.

    Aston Villa have reportedly joined the race for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.

    The Englishman's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with Chelsea believed to be open to a sale during this summer's transfer window for financial reasons.

    Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with the 24-year-old, but according to The Independent, Villa are also firmly in the race for his signature during the summer market.

    The report claims that Villa head coach Unai Emery is a huge admirer of Gallagher, who was one of Chelsea's most productive players during the 2023-24 campaign.

    BVB boss Terzic provides update on Sancho's future

    Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic has revealed that no decision has been made on Jadon Sancho's future.

    The 24-year-old returned on loan to BVB in January after the breakdown of his relationship with Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag.

    Sancho helped the Bundesliga giants reach the Champions League final, and he played 87 minutes of his loan club's 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the English capital.

    The forward, as it stands, will return to his parent club this summer, but Dortmund are believed to be determined to re-sign him on a permanent basis during the summer market.

    Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly assessing whether to make an approach for a defender who is currently plying his trade in Primeira Liga.

    The West Midlands outfit are currently preparing for a summer of transition having ended the season in poor form, ultimately dropping down to 14th position in the Premier League standings.

    While Gary O'Neil can claim to have enjoyed a respectful first campaign at Molineux, Wolves collected just five points from their final 10 matches.

    Although Wolves are in a better position with regards to the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability regulations in comparison to 12 months ago, it may take a major sale to provide O'Neil with the funds that he requires to make major alterations.

    Ten Hag identifies three positions Man United will look to target this summer

    Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has revealed that he wants to bring a centre-back, central midfielder and centre-forward to Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window.

    The Red Devils posted their worst-ever finish in the Premier League last term, ending the campaign down in eighth, but they have qualified for the 2024-25 Europa League courtesy of their 2-1 victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup final at the end of last month.

    There remains huge uncertainty surrounding Ten Hag's future at the helm, with a final decision on the Dutchman allegedly not yet being made.

    However, Ten Hag is looking ahead to next season, and the Dutchman has identified three positions that the club need to target if they are to enjoy a more successful 2024-25.
