Former Hollyoaks actor David Tag says that he is in early talks about appearing on Celebrity Big Brother.

Former Hollyoaks star David Tag has revealed that he has begun talks about a potential appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.

The 38-year-old played Sylver McQueen on the Channel 4 soap for four years until the character was killed off last year.

Celebrity Big Brother is returning on ITV1 next year after six years away, following on from the broadcaster's recent successful revival of the main show.

Speaking to The Sun, Tag said: "I'm in talks for possibly Big Brother, but I'm not sure yet... like that's just very early stages.

"It's always worth the meeting. But I don't know. This series was actually really good so that's why I thought maybe."

Another reported target for the show, which begins in March, is Rebekah Vardy following her involvement in the "Wagatha Christie" saga.
