Kim Woodburn posts update from coronavirus isolation: "I'm an old broad"

Celebrity Big Brother legend Kim Woodburn reveals that she is isolating at home due to fears over the coronavirus.

Kim Woodburn has revealed that she is in self-isolation in an effort to avoid the coronavirus pandemic, declaring her and her husband Peter to be no "spring chickens".

The Celebrity Big Brother legend turns 78 next week, putting her firmly in the age range most at risk of contracting the disease, which has claimed more than 11,000 lives worldwide to date.

Posting a video to social media, Woodburn explained: "I have put myself in isolation in my home. Touch wood, I haven't got the coronavirus, but me and my husband are not exactly spring chickens and so we're taking precautions. I've cancelled all my telly work because I think your health comes first.

"Look my loves, don't get too upset about coronavirus. We'll all work together, all obey the rules, and we'll all get better. But as I say touch wood I'm healthy right now, but I'm an old broad you know. I don't want to get sick.

"Be happy, and everything's going to be fine - I promise you, it will all be fine."

Woodburn also revealed that she will be passing her time in isolation by recording personalised video messages for her fans, which are available through her website for £25.
