BT Sport will show all four events in the Super League Triathlon Championship Series in September, it is announced.

BT Sport has concluded a deal to broadcast all four events in the Super League Triathlon Championship Series next month.

The Super League uses a faster format of the sport, with shorter distances than the standard triathlon measures employed over all three legs.

In 2021 four meets will be held in London, Munich, Jersey and Malibu over four consecutive weekends starting September 5, with BT Sport showing exclusive live coverage in the UK.

"Our customers can look forward to the very best action from one of the world's most gruelling sports series, with Great Britain's Jonny Brownlee set to compete," said Rachel Knight, director of rights at BT Sport.

"BT Sport will be bringing viewers coverage from a range of triathlon events in due course."

The third meet of the series in Jersey could be missing some of the sport's top names as it clashes with the rescheduled first meet of the 2022 World Triathlon Championship Series, which is scheduled to take place in Hamburg on September 18 and 19.
