David Graham reprises his role as voice of The Daleks in Doctor Who as part of the show's 60th anniversary celebrations.

David Graham, the original voice of The Daleks in Doctor Who, has recorded fresh material for the show at the age of 98.

Alongside the late Peter Hawkins, the actor provided the voice for The Daleks from their first appearance in 1963 in the First Doctor serial 'The Daleks'.

As part of the show's 60th anniversary celebrations, the seven-episode serial has been recut as a feature-length, 75-minute episode to appeal to a modern audience - complete with colourisation and a brand new score.

The latest edition of Doctor Who Magazine reveals that showrunner Russell T Davies has also penned some new dialogue for the episodes, with Graham back to voice the lines.

"Doctor Who is very busy and very mad, but it's been a constant source of joy for me and Phil (Collinson, exec producer) that every couple of weeks we can return to The Daleks and see how it's coming along," Davies told the magazine.

"I absolutely love it. I really think it validates everything we set out to do. And we're starting work on next year's already..."

Doctor Who: The Daleks airs on BBC Four on Thursday, November 23 at 7.30pm.
