RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard films a cameo in Hollyoaks for two special episodes set in Brighton.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK's reigning champion Danny Beard has filmed a cameo appearance in Hollyoaks.

Later this month, the soap will air two special episodes set in Brighton, as newly-reunited couple Juliet (Niamh Blackshaw) and Peri (Ruby O'Donnell) pay a visit to the seaside town as Juliet continues her battle against cancer.

The girls are distraught, however, when their belongings are stolen - but Danny Beard comes to the rescue, giving them a lift back to Chester and offering them some words of wisdom en route.

"It's been really fun, and all the crew here are so lovely and happy," said Danny. "I can't wait to share it with you all. It's ridiculous, in the best Hollyoaks way possible."

The episodes will conclude in the Hollyoaks village with Danny giving a special performance on The Love Boat.
