Married At First Sight UK will return for a one-off reunion special early next year.

E4 has confirmed that a reunion special featuring members of the most recent series of Married At First Sight UK will air next year.

The latest series wrapped up earlier this month and was arguably the most explosive to date, featuring a controversial 'wife swap', two couples being ejected and numerous fractious dinner parties.

The new reunion will see 14 members of the cast invited for a special dinner party at an English countryside retreat, giving them the chance to reflect on their time in the experiment.

Confirmed to attend are Adrienne and Matt, Peggy and Georges, Jordan and Erica, Paul and Tasha, Thomas and Rosaline, Jay, Ella, Laura and Shona.

Notable absentees include Luke, who was kicked off the show after an altercation with Jordan, Ella's now ex-partner JJ, Ella's outspoken ex Nathanial and Brad, who was dropped from the process due to concerns over his relationship with Shona.

The special will air on E4 to coincide with the next season of MAFS Australia, which is likely to begin in February or March.
