The 2023 edition of Married At First Sight UK will reportedly be the longest yet, running to almost two months.

The next season of Married At First Sight UK will reportedly be the longest yet.

In 2021 the unconventional dating show switched from Channel 4 to E4 and adopted the Australian format, with the process playing out over significantly more episodes.

The success of the 2021 series, which ran to 21 episodes, prompted E4 to increase the run to 30 episodes this year - and according to The Sun, the 2023 edition will be longer still.

A source told the newspaper: "Married At First Sight UK has been nothing short of a phenomenon for E4 over the last two years and producers are really keen to capitalise on that by giving viewers even more of what they want.

"The 2022 series ran for 30 episodes, but the 2023 run is definitely going to run for a week or two longer.

"With extra episodes, fans can expect plenty of new twists and format tweaks to make the show even more shocking and unpredictable."

E4 is also thought to be exploring a series of spinoff episodes featuring former participants, to air in 2023.
