Sky Cinema will release Zack Snyder's Justice League to subscribers in the UK next Thursday, March 18.

Sky has announced that Zack Snyder's Justice League will be made available on Sky Cinema and Now TV from next Thursday, March 18.

The new version of the widely-derided 2017 superhero movie aims to present the film as Snyder originally intended it before he exited the project due to a family bereavement.

The film will be made available in the US on March 18 to subscribers of the HBO Max streaming service at no additional cost, and now Sky has agreed a similar deal for Sky Cinema customers in the UK, Ireland, Germany and Austria.

Zack Snyder's Justice League runs to a hefty four hours and two minutes - compared to two hours for the 2017 version - and includes dropped scenes and new scenes shot last year, as well as changes to the score and edit.

Earlier this week the film accidentally leaked to some HBO Max users who were instead attempting to watch Tom & Jerry, although the glitch was swiftly rectified by the streaming service before it was viewed by a wider audience.
