Child's Play TV series Chucky delayed by coronavirus

Production on the TV spinoff of the Child's Play franchise is pushed into 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The upcoming TV spinoff of Child's Play has been delayed until next year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The iconic movie franchise follows the murderous adventures of a possessed doll called Chucky and the TV series will see him terrorise one small town in particular.

The new show was originally due to be filmed later this year but according to Deadline, coronavirus has now forced production to be pushed to early 2021.

The publication says that the series is still expected to make it to air as planned in 2021 despite the delay.
