Little Mix singer Jade Thirwall reveals via a poem that she is feeling the mental strain of the coronavirus lockdown.

Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall has admitted that she has been finding the coronavirus lockdown emotionally tough to cope with.

Like most of the UK population, the 27-year-old has been isolating at home and following government guidelines which require people to stay a safe distance away from others not in their household.

In a poem called 'Lockdown Word Vomit', Thirlwall reveals that she has drunk 18 bottles of wine and has started hugging crystals in an attempt to calm her "frantic mind".

"I took freedom for granted," she writes. "I've drank 18 bottles of wine. I lay awake overthinking, plagued with anxiety through the night.

"I read books. Hug crystals. CBD oil and hot baths and place lavender on every pillow hoping to soothe my frantic mind."

Meanwhile, Thirlwall has been confirmed as host of a new MTV show that will see her interview drag queens as they cook a meal for her mother.
