Watch: Trump returns to White House, appears to have breathing difficulties

Watch as President Donald Trump returns to the White House, pointedly removing his mask but then appearing to suffer breathing difficulties.

President Donald Trump appeared to have difficulties breathing as he posed for photographers upon returning to the White House this evening.

The 74-year-old, who is suffering from coronavirus, was discharged from the Walter Reed Medical Center today having been hospitalised on Friday for 'precautionary reasons'.

Trump's medical team have claimed that he is well enough to return to the White House, despite ongoing speculation in the US media that his condition is more serious than is being reported.

Having been flown back to his residence by Marine One, Trump walked up the stairs to the balcony of the White House and then in a shocking pointed moment, removed his mask and posed for photographs.

As he waited for the helicopter to leave, the President appeared to be breathing heavily and looked visibly uncomfortable.
