Michelle Visage: 'RuPaul is loving the downtime'

Michelle Visage reveals that RuPaul is enjoying some "much-needed rest time" during the coronavirus lockdown.

Michelle Visage has revealed that RuPaul is 'loving' the chance to rest up during the coronavirus lockdown.

The legendary drag queen has a packed schedule, starring in new seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race, RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars and RuPaul's Drag Race UK every year, as well as serving as producer on international versions of the show.

RuPaul and Visage are thought to have been filming the next season of the UK spinoff when the coronavirus pandemic forced production to abruptly shut down several episodes in, forcing both to return home to the US.

"We have spoken and he loves the downtime," Visage said while doing promo for her new BBC Three show. "He never stops working and this is much-needed rest time for him. He is doing great and chilling."

Visage's new series, How's Your Head, Hun?, is being filmed during lockdown at her home in Los Angeles and will premiere Tuesday, May 26 on iPlayer.
