Joe Exotic promises "huge announcements" on March 1

Joe Exotic - star of Netflix's Tiger King - reveals that he will be making announcements about his future on Monday.

Tiger King star Joe Exotic has revealed that he will be making "huge announcements" about his future on Monday, March 1.

The 57-year-old is two years into a 22-year prison term after being convicted of charges including animal cruelty and an alleged plot to kill his long-term rival Carole Baskin, events that were documented in the popular Netflix miniseries.

Exotic - real name Joseph Maldonado-Passage - unsuccessfully petitioned Donald Trump for a presidential pardon in his final days in office, alleging widespread corruption at the Department of Justice, and has now teased some fresh revelations in his case in the coming days.

Posting on Twitter, he wrote: "Huge announcements coming March 1, 2021. I will show you the difference between people that talk shit for attention verses me, and how I back up my talk.

"The truth is going to come out now I promise. #justiceforjoeexotic"

Exotic is currently behind bars at FMC Fort Worth in Texas.
