European versions of I'm A Celebrity 'to be filmed in Polish castle'
ITV Studios reportedly secures the services of a Polish castle to stage international versions of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

ITV Studios has reportedly secured "a permanent home" for the international versions of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in Poland.

The original UK version of the reality show was based in Australia for its first 19 series but was forced to relocate to Gwrych Castle in Wales last year due to coronavirus travel restrictions.

ITV is hopeful of returning to the Aussie jungle for the next series later this year, but according to The Mirror, the castle format is now set to be adopted by the international versions of the show.

The newspaper says that producers have secured an unnamed castle in Poland as a potential location for versions of the show in countries such as Germany, Denmark and India should agreements with local broadcasters be reached.

Should travel to Australia not be feasible again this year, ITV has already agreed a deal to hold this year's series at Gwrych Castle once more.
