Barnet boss Martin Allen struggles to comprehend Carlisle United loss

Barnet manager Martin Allen insists that his side did not deserve to lose to Carlisle United in League Two.

Barnet manager Martin Allen was unable to comprehend how his side ended up losing to Carlisle United following a 3-2 thriller in League Two.

The Bees overturned a 2-0 deficit before Derek Asamoah netted a winner for the hosts in the second half, but Allen insists that his side deserved more.

"You had to be here to believe it. I've never been involved in such a one-side dominant performance in 19 years," PA Sport quotes him as saying.

"We were 2-0 down and should have been six up in the first 15 minutes. Carlisle had one shot in the second half on the counter. It was a good performance by us, but we didn't take our opportunities.

"We looked good in open play and I'm sure if we keep our self-belief and keep the high level of intensity points will come our way."

The result leaves Barnet in 21st place in the table, while Carlisle climb to 11th.
