Emre Can: 'Jadon Sancho is already world class'

Borussia Dortmund loanee Emre Can believes that in-demand teammate Jadon Sancho is already "world class" at the age of 20 and is confident he has a "great future".

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Emre Can has claimed that Jadon Sancho is the best player of his age in world football.

Having burst onto the scene last season, the 20-year-old has enjoyed another remarkably prolific campaign this term, scoring 14 goals and creating 15 in just 23 Bundesliga appearances.

Such prodigious form has seen him linked with just about every major club in Europe, and Can is in no doubt that the England international has a "great future" ahead of him.

"I knew he was a very good player even before I joined Dortmund," Can told Bild.

"But since I've arrived, I've found out that he's world class and maybe the best player of his age. He has everything a top footballer needs and has a great future ahead of him."

The likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid have been most strongly linked with a summer move for Sancho, but Chelsea, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Manchester City are among the other clubs to have been credited with an interest.
