Zinedine Zidane is not actively pushing for the Manchester United managerial position, according to a report.

Zinedine Zidane is reportedly not actively pushing for the Manchester United managerial position.

The Frenchman is thought to be an option for the Red Devils, should the club decide to relieve Ole Gunnar Solskjaer of his duties in the near future.

According to Marca, Zidane is attracting interest from Man United, who have only picked up one point from their last three Premier League matches.

The report, though, claims that the former Real Madrid manager is currently enjoying his time away from the spotlight and is not looking to return to a coaching position at this moment in time.

Cristiano Ronaldo is believed to have recommended Zidane to the 20-time English champions as a possible replacement for Solskjaer.

The 49-year-old had two separate spells in charge of Real Madrid, leading the club to two La Liga titles and three Champions League crowns during his time at the helm.

Former Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is also thought to be in the picture for the managerial position at Old Trafford, with the Italian said to believe that he could win the Champions League at the club.
