Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane concedes that his fate depends entirely on results between now and the summer, as he prepares his side for back-to-back away matches.

Zinedine Zidane has reiterated that he "would like to stay on as coach of Real Madrid", ahead of a huge week for the Spanish and European champions.

Los Blancos are left relying on a third successive Champions League triumph to salvage their season, as they find themselves 15 points adrift of La Liga leaders Barcelona.

Madrid have back-to-back away matches to prepare for when club action resumes this week, with a league game against Las Palmas coming three days before they take on Juventus in Turin.

Zidane hopes to remain in charge beyond the end of the season, but concedes that results between now and then will ultimately decide his fate.

"Yes, I would still like to stay as coach of Real Madrid," he told reporters. "Things depend on the results, it has not changed, it will not change, it is the requirement of this club and I accept it.

"I've been here 18 years, I know how Real Madrid functions. I do what I like doing, I do it thoroughly and if the question is, do you want to continue? Then yes I will continue. I do not feel tired, not at all."

Madrid hit a positive streak of form prior to the international break by winning four matches on the spin.
