Sunday's Serie A predictions including Roma vs. Juventus

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Roma vs. Juventus.

Cagliari vs. Lecce (Sunday, 11.30am)

Both with four games left to save their Serie A status, relegation battlers Cagliari and Lecce meet in Sardinia on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts trail their visitors by four points after a heavy defeat last time out, and they are still hovering dangerously close to the drop zone.

We say: Cagliari 2-2 Lecce

Throughout Serie A, Lecce (39%) and Cagliari (36%) have scored the highest share of goals during the final 15 minutes, so nothing will be decided until the final whistle blows. The Salentini have recently started picking up more points on the road, but their hosts never know when they are beaten and should at least avoid defeat.

Empoli vs. Frosinone (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Empoli seek a third consecutive Serie A victory at Stadio Carlo Castellani when they welcome Frosinone in gameweek 35 action on Sunday.

Davide Nicola's men may have fired blanks for the fourth away league game running but have typically relied on their form on home turf, which will be tested in this weekend's relegation six-pointer.

We say: Empoli 1-1 Frosinone

Frosinone are chasing their longest unbeaten run in Serie A, and they could achieve that against an Empoli side that have lost three of their recent five meetings with the Canaries, including the reverse fixture.

Nevertheless, Empoli's current undefeated run at the Castellani should continue on Sunday, even if maximum points may not be secured.

Hellas Verona vs. Fiorentina (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Still gunning for a return to Europe, Fiorentina aim to continue their recent revival at the expense of relegation-threatened Hellas Verona on Sunday.

The Viola will arrive at Stadio Bentegodi fresh from edging closer to another Europa Conference League final and intent on improving their prospects of a top-seven finish in Serie A.

We say: Hellas Verona 1-0 Fiorentina

Fiorentina's away record has been below-par this season, while Verona have the advantage of several days extra rest. As the Viola often fail to finish their chances and will field an under-strength side, the Gialloblu faithful may have a rare win to celebrate this weekend.

AC Milan vs. Genoa (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Winless in their last five matches, AC Milan will aim to get back on track when they welcome Genoa to San Siro on Sunday evening.

Yet to confirm runners-up spot in Serie A, the Rossoneri are in danger of ending their season on a down note, while their visitors have not given up on claiming a top-half finish.

We say: AC Milan 1-1 Genoa

As Milan's momentum has been lost - and several players will be absent - plucky Genoa can capitalise by extending their hosts' winless streak and taking a point back home to Liguria.

Roma vs. Juventus (Sunday, 7.45pm)

After suffering a rare home defeat in midweek, Roma will try to retain their grip on a top-five place in Serie A when welcoming Juventus to Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.

Both sides are intent on claiming a place in next season's Champions League, but neither has secured their spot just yet.

We say: Roma 1-1 Juventus

While Juventus have lost all momentum are stuttering towards the end of another troubled season, distracted Roma may have one eye on turning their Europa League semi-final tie around. The hosts also have a woeful record against Italy's other top clubs, so Juve can record a fourth straight Serie A draw.
