Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly unlikely to bring Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale back to the club this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly unlikely to bring Gareth Bale back to the club this summer despite the recent speculation surrounding the Wales international.

The 32-year-old's contract at Real Madrid is due to expire at the end of June, and Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that the attacker will leave Bernabeu on a free transfer.

Various reports have claimed that Tottenham want to bring Bale back to North London at the end of the season, but according to football.london, the former Southampton youngster is unlikely to return to Spurs.

Journalist Alasdair Gold claims that figures within the club have said that there is 'absolutely no truth' to the reports surrounding the Welshman.

Bale first represented Tottenham between 2007 and 2013, scoring 55 times in 203 appearances in all competitions before making the move to Real Madrid.

The attacker then returned to the capital outfit on loan for the 2020-21 season, netting 16 goals in 34 appearances before returning to his parent club.
