Slaven Bilic will reportedly have two more games to save his job as West Ham United manager following Friday's 3-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion.

West Ham United have given manager Slaven Bilic two games to save his job, according to reports.

On Friday evening, the Hammers dropped to 17th in the Premier League table after losing 3-0 at home to Brighton & Hove Albion, though they now sit 16th following results elsewhere.

The loss was their fifth in their opening nine league matches and heaped more pressure on Bilic as the London Stadium crowd loudly booed the manager and players after the final whistle.

Despite extensive investment in new players in the summer including striker Javier Hernandez and goalkeeper Joe Hart, West Ham have won only two of nine league games this season.

According to Sky Sports News, Bilic is being given the next two games to save his job, at Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup on Wednesday and at Crystal Palace in the league on Saturday.

The Croat's future was the subject of speculation for much of last season as the Hammers struggled to settle in their new home, though they eventually secured an 11th-place finish in the league.
