New England Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has revealed that he still cannot believe that he is at the club after being selected in the 2014 NFL Draft.
The 22-year-old was picked 62nd overall in the second round of the selection process and is already hard at work to learn the Patriots' playbook as he prepares to learn behind Tom Brady.
He told reporters: "To have this opportunity to come here, I couldn't imagine a better one. I'm excited to get after it with the guys... and to play a game in this stadium finally.
"I'm getting a little sleep-deprived, but that's a good thing in this business. It's like learning Spanish compared to English. It's a different language, really."
The Patriots used their highest pick on a quarterback since Brady became the club's starter on Garoppolo.
