Bronze for Robin Womack in the men's shot put

Britain's Robin Womack wins gold in the men's shot put.

Robin Womack has won a bronze medal for Great Britain in the men's F54/55/66 shot put.

The 41-year-old threw a personal best 11.34m in the third round.

He was beaten to the silver medal by just two centimetres as Karol Kozun produced a season's best 11.36m, also in the third round of throws.

The gold was won by the impressive Jalil Bagheri Jeddi from Iran. Jeddi threw over eleven metres four times, setting a new Paralympic record with his final throw of 11.64m

All of the medal winners were from the F55 class.
