Peter Moores optimistic for bright future with 'emerging' Test team

England coach Peter Moores claims that the Test team is "very exciting" after their win over the West Indies in the second Test.

England coach Peter Moores has said that he is excited by the potential of the Test team following their win over the West Indies in Grenada.

James Anderson starred with the ball as the tourists wrapped up a nine-wicket victory, and Moores believes that a promising team is taking shape.

He told BBC Sport: "We've got an emerging Test match team which is very exciting because of the mix of senior players and young players coming through. We came here with a clear goal to win the series.

"We've been working hard and seen these players emerge. To get some reward for all the hard work they have put in is great."

England and the West Indies start the final Test of the series on Friday.
