Peter Moores has insisted that Jonathan Trott has done enough to earn a second chance in the England team despite posting two low scores in the drawn Test against the West Indies this week.
The batsman returned from over a year out of the national side with a stress-related illness for the match in Antigua, but was out for a duck in his first innings, before adding just four runs in the second.
Moores told BBC Sport: "I don't think you're looking to change your opening partnership straight away. He'll go to Grenada, like the rest of the batters they'll want to do their work, get used to these conditions.
"It's hard work getting past that first 10 overs, but he'll be focussing on that, getting ready for the next Test. He's earned his right to be in the side by playing well for Warwickshire, then going to the Lions and getting runs out in South Africa, and he's playing well.
"He hasn't got a score, but if you get a good ball, that happens."
James Anderson became England's record wicket-taker in Test cricket during the draw by picking up his 384th dismissal.
