Team GB diver Matty Lee reportedly signs up to appear on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Olympic gold medallist Matty Lee has reportedly joined the lineup for the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The 23-year-old triumphed in the 10m synchro diving competition with partner Tom Daley over the summer, having also won gold at the European Championships a few months earlier.

The new series of I'm A Celebrity begins broadcasting from Wales next month and according to The Sun, Lee will be one of the famous faces entering the castle.

"Matty became one of the most talked about names in the Olympics Games this summer," a source told the newspaper.

"There had been some talk of getting Tom on board before but after his performance in the Olympics Matty became a hot favourite and his diary was free. The timing was perfect.

"Matty is young, strong and will thrive under the pressures of the challenges.

"He is really excited about getting on board and diving into the action."

Other names rumoured to be taking part include Richard Madeley, Arlene Phillips and soap legends Adam Woodyatt and Simon Gregson.
