ITV announces celeb pairings for new series of DNA Journey

ITV reveals the names of the celebrities taking part in the fifth series of DNA Journey.

ITV has confirmed the names of the six celebrity pairs appearing on the fifth series of genealogy show DNA Journey.

The couples taking part are Fay Ripley and Hermione Norris, Jo Brand and Julian Clary, Ricky Tomlinson and Sue Johnston, Sarah Parish and Jimmy Nesbitt, John Simm and Philip Glenister, plus Sam Thompson and Marvin Humes.

"DNA Journey is an extraordinary series that offers a unique glimpse into the lives of so many brilliant celebrities," said ITV's commissioning editor Louise Major.

"It is a privilege to be granted intimate access to their personal journeys and to share their experiences with the audience. This series is packed with life-changing revelations and gratifying discoveries that are sure to touch everyone's hearts."

The new series is due to air on ITV1 and ITVX this summer.
