Sinisa Mihajlovic "angry" with Alessio Cerci

Sinisa Mihajlovic says that Alessio Cerci needs to improve his movement off the ball, following AC Milan's defeat to Juventus.

AC Milan manager Sinisa Mihajlovic has said that he is angry with Alessio Cerci for his display in their 1-0 defeat to Juventus on Saturday evening.

The 28-year-old wasted his side's best chance to score in the first half with a wayward header, and Mihajlovic was left unimpressed by his overall showing.

"I'm angry at him [Cerci]," Mihajlovic told Premium Sport. "He is always receiving the ball without any movement.

"This must change in order to beat the defender. What we must do is focus on the improvements which change every game.

"I think our defence is finally sorted but we need to be more proactive upfront. Our strikers stayed back far too often which makes it harder to get forward."

Cerci is currently on an 18-month loan deal at Milan from Atletico Madrid.
