Manchester City draw Barcelona in Champions League last 16

Manchester City draw Barcelona in the Champions League last 16.

Manchester City have been drawn against four-time winners Barcelona in the Champions League last 16.

The two teams met at the same stage of last season's competition, with Barca eventually triumphing 4-1 over two legs.

Chelsea will face French champions Paris Saint-Germain for the second consecutive campaign, while Arsenal have been pitted against manager Arsene Wenger's former club Monaco.

The Blues defeated PSG in the semi-finals last term, beating the Ligue 1 side on away goals following a 3-3 draw on aggregate.

Holders Real Madrid take on Schalke 04, and last year's beaten finalists Atletico Madrid will need to get past Bayer Leverkusen if they want to reach the last eight.

German giants Bayern Munich are to meet Shakhtar Donetsk, Juventus will play Borussia Dortmund, and Basel versus Porto completes the draw.

The first legs of those ties will be played on February 17/18 or 24/25.
