Arsene Wenger: "Too early" for Premier League title talk

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger opts not to discuss his team's chances of winning the Premier League following their 2-1 win over Manchester City.

Arsene Wenger has insisted that it is "too early" to talk about his Arsenal side potentially winning the Premier League title.

Leicester City currently sit top of the table by two points, but tonight's 2-1 win over Manchester City has made the second-placed Gunners the favourites with the bookmakers to lift the trophy for a first time since 2004.

However, when asked about his team's chances, Wenger provided a cautious response.

"It is too early to talk about the title but we are up there. It gives us confidence. I believe we have a very strong spirit, there is life in the team," he told Sky Sports News.

On Boxing Day Wenger's men travel to Southampton.
