Arsenal reportedly slap a £30m price tag on the head of Joe Willock, who continues to impress while on loan at Newcastle United.

Arsenal would reportedly entertain offers of around £30m for midfielder Joe Willock.

The 21-year-old has played a starring role under Steve Bruce while on loan at Newcastle United, netting five goals in his last five Premier League appearances to help the Magpies confirm survival.

Bruce has admitted that he would love to keep Willock on the books at St James' Park, but Arsenal would not let their academy product leave on the cheap after his breakthrough season.

A fee of £20m was previously touted for the England Under-21 international, but transfer expert Fabrizio Romano now claims that the Gunners are after at least £25m and possibly up to £30m for Willock.

However, the midfielder would supposedly want to be assured of a regular first-team role to stay with Arsenal, and he may be granted it if the Gunners cannot strike a permanent deal for Martin Odegaard this summer.

Willock remains contracted to Arsenal until 2023, where he has amassed 11 goals and four assists from 78 appearances, including six goal contributions from five Europa League outings earlier in the season.
