Barcelona reportedly enter the race to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal in the January transfer window.

Barcelona have reportedly entered the race to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal in the January transfer window.

The Catalan club is determined to secure a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez, who turns 33 next year.

Aubameyang, who has eight Premier League goals since August, is said to be considering his future following Arsenal's mixed start to the 2019-20 campaign.

According to El Chiringuito, Barcelona have placed Aubameyang on their list ahead of making a potential approach once the January window opens.

It is claimed that Barcelona's targets in that position also include Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez and Manchester United's Marcus Rashford.

The Gabonese international has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid, who are likewise looking to find a new long-term striker as Karim Benzema enters the closing stages of his career.
