Borussia Dortmund are ready to walk away from talks with Arsenal over the January sale of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to a report.

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly threatened to walk away from the negotiating table after growing frustrated by Arsenal's tactics to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon international, frozen out of BVB's squad of late, has been at the centre of talks between the two clubs over the past week.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger conceded on Wednesday that an agreement is no closer to being reached, however, and German outlet Kicker suggests that the transfer may soon be off for good.

Arsenal's solitary bid of £44m is said to be well below the £60m Dortmund are holding out for, and the Bundesliga side fear that talks are deliberately being dragged out until the closing stages of the window.

The report claims that Arsenal have been told to produce the full asking price, or else discussions will be shelved and the 28-year-old will remain at the Westfalenstadion until at least the summer.

Aubameyang has 17 goals in 21 Bundesliga and Champions League outings so far this season.
