James Rodriguez to snub Arsenal for Everton move?

Real Madrid attacker could reject a move to Arsenal in favour of joining Everton, according to a report.

Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez is reportedly ready to turn down a move to Arsenal this summer in favour of joining Everton.

The Colombia international has been restricted to just 13 appearances for Los Blancos during the 2019-20 campaign and is widely expected to leave during this summer's transfer window.

Arsenal were thought to be at the head of the queue for the versatile attacker.

However, according to Marca, the South American could snub a switch to the Emirates Stadium in order to join up with former head coach Carlo Ancelotti at Everton.

Ancelotti managed Rodriguez for one season at the Bernabeu, while it is thought that the experienced head coach tried to bring the 28-year-old to Napoli last summer.

Everton have also been linked with an ambitious move for Gareth Bale.
