Legia Warsaw official: 'Krystian Bielik will be major success at Arsenal'

"Sensational talent" Krystian Bielik will make his mark at Arsenal should a deal be completed, according to Legia Warsaw official Dominik Ebebenge.

Legia Warsaw official Dominik Ebebenge is confident that Krystian Bielik will be a "major success" in the Premier League as the midfielder closes in on a move to Arsenal.

The 17-year-old is reported to have been tracked by a number of European football's elite clubs this month, although the Gunners appear to have won the race for the youngster with a medical arranged for this afternoon.

Despite his relative youth and inexperience, Ebebenge believes that Bielik, who was also rumoured to be close to joining Hamburg, will make an impression in North London.

"We are happy for Krystian to go to a top club like Arsenal in the Premier League," he told Goal.com. "We agreed a fee with Arsenal and the other team [Hamburg] so it was down the player and he chose Arsenal and we wish him well.

"He has only played for us for a few months so credit must go to our scouting staff and [coach] Henning [Berg] for bringing him into the team. I believe he will be a major success in England as he is a sensational talent."

It has been suggested that Arsenal will pay £2.3m plus add-ons for the twice-capped Poland Under-16s international.

Bielik has made six appearances for Legia this season, while also being handed his Europa League bow against Trabzonspor last month.
