Marseille reportedly hold an interest in signing Liverpool full-back Alberto Moreno and Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal.

Marseille have reportedly identified Alberto Moreno and Nacho Monreal as potential signings for the January transfer window.

The French giants have endured a disappointing first half of the campaign, and the club currently sit in fifth place in the Ligue 1 standings.

However, Rudi Garcia will be keen on securing a place in next season's Champions League, and it appears that new additions will be targeted at the turn of the year.

According to France Football, Garcia is considering making offers for each of Liverpool full-back Moreno and Arsenal defender Monreal.

Moreno has just over six months remaining on his contract at Anfield, and the Merseyside giants may be willing to sell the Spaniard for a cut-price fee.

Monreal finds himself in the same situation at the Emirates Stadium and despite the 32-year-old's status on the squad, the Gunners could be open to a sale.
