West Ham United youngster Reece Oxford is reportedly prepared to wait for a summer transfer to Arsenal rather than make another switch to Germany.

West Ham United youngster Reece Oxford has reportedly decided that he wants to sign for Arsenal in the summer.

Oxford was once regarded as a prospect who would go on to feature heavily in West Ham's first team, but the 20-year-old has made just nine starts and eight substitute outings since making his debut in 2015.

Two loan spells have been spent at Borussia Monchengladbach and reports have suggested that a third period at the Bundesliga outfit could materialise, but according to The Mirror, Oxford would prefer to make the switch to Arsenal.

The report claims that Oxford does not want to move to Germany for the third time since July last year and is prepared to bide his time until the summer in order to remain in England.

Oxford still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract at the London Stadium, but West Ham are said to be prepared to cash in on the academy graduate.
