Report: Juventus track Sheffield United youngster

Juventus reportedly join Arsenal in the race for Sheffield United youngster Diego de Girolamo.

Juventus have reportedly joined the race for Sheffield United youngster Diego de Girolamo.

The 18-year-old, who was born in Chesterfield, has impressed watching scouts in recent Italy Under-19 matches.

According to the Daily Mail, the striker has also been watched by Arsenal this season, despite the fact that he is yet to make his full debut in League One.

De Girolamo has appeared on the Blades' substitutes' bench recently after a long spell on the sidelines following a cruciate ligament injury last year.

He is rated very highly by Italy's coaching staff but could still qualify to play for England if he wanted to.
