AS Monaco star Thomas Lemar says "we'll see" when asked about his future amid transfer links to Arsenal and Liverpool.

AS Monaco star Thomas Lemar has opened the door to a possible transfer amid reports linking the midfielder to Arsenal and Liverpool.

The 21-year-old is believed to have been the subject of a £92m bid from the Gunners earlier today.

However, after learning that it would have been too difficult to get a deal over the line, the North London outfit withdrew their interest.

Liverpool were also rumoured contenders for Lemar's signature, but the speculation died down once the Anfield club sealed the signature of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal.

It has since emerged that the midfielder would have preferred a move to Liverpool than Arsenal because the Merseyside club can offer Champions League football.

With less than an hour to go before the transfer window closes, Lemar, who scored twice in France's 4-0 win over the Netherlands this evening, has refused to rule out a move away.

According to Sky Sports News, when asked about his future after the match, the midfielder said: "We'll see. We'll see what happens. For the moment I am a Monaco player and everything is going very well."

Lemar joined Monaco from Caen in 2015.
