Report: Swansea City want Leo Baptistao on loan

A report claims that Swansea City want to sign Atletico Madrid forward Leo Baptistao on loan.

Swansea City are reportedly interested in signing Brazilian forward Leo Baptistao on loan in the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old is currently on loan at Rayo Vallecano, where he has scored six goals in 12 games for his former club.

According to Goal.com, Swansea will contact his parent club Atletico Madrid in January, with the view to the forward spending the second half of the season in the Premier League.

Swansea's leading scorer Wilfried Bony is expected to represent Ivory Coast in the Africa Cup of Nations in January, leaving the Welsh side short in attack.

Baptistao moved to Atletico from Rayo in 2013, but has spent the last two seasons out on loan.
