Joaquin Larrivey looks ahead to Barcelona clash

Celta Vigo forward Joaquin Larrivey admits that his team will have to be at their best to stand a chance of beating Barcelona in La Liga this weekend.

Celta Vigo forward Joaquin Larrivey has said that his team are "very excited" about this weekend's La Liga clash against Barcelona.

Celta recorded a 1-0 victory at the Camp Nou in the reverse match earlier this season, but Larrivey has conceded that it will be difficult to record another win over the Catalan outfit.

"We're very excited about this game but we know it's going to be really difficult to repeat the success we had at the Camp Nou because we are up against the best team in the world, or at least one of the top three," the Argentine told Efe.

"In that match we played really well and next Sunday we'll need to perform at a similar level to beat Barcelona.

"Keeping a clean sheet against them is almost an impossible job and we'll have to defend brilliantly. We'll also have to hope our goalkeeper produces another fantastic performance and trust they are not successful."

Celta currently sit 10th in La Liga after 28 games.
