Barcelona are reportedly closing on the loan signing of Fluminense teenager Robert, who has already been called up to the full Brazil national team.
The 19-year-old, who primarily operates in the number 10 position, has been linked with a move to Spain since the start of the season.
According to Sport, a loan deal has now been struck between the two clubs and Robert will move to Barcelona B next month until the end of the season, when his long-term future will be addressed.
Barcelona are currently in Japan preparing to take on Argentine outfit River Plate in the final of the Club World Cup, which takes place on Sunday.
The Catalan giants will once again be free to sign new players at the start of next month following the expiration of their transfer ban.
