Barcelona are considering a January move for Red Bull Salzburg teenager Karim Adeyemi, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly considering a January move for Red Bull Salzburg teenager Karim Adeyemi.

The 17-year-old has found the back of the net on seven occasions in 11 appearances for Salzburg's feeder club FC Liefering in the early stages of the 2019-20 campaign.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barca's academy director Patrick Kluivert is determined to bring the striker to Camp Nou in the near future as he is viewed as one of the best young talents in world football.

The report also claims that the Spanish champions would have to come up with an offer of £7m in order to sign Adeyemi, who has been capped at Under-16 and Under-17 level by Germany.

The teenager, who has a Nigerian father and Romanian mother, is contracted to parent club Salzburg until the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
