Report: Neymar signs new five-year deal at Barcelona

Neymar reportedly signs a new five-year contract with Barcelona.

Neymar has reportedly signed a new five-year contract at Barcelona.

The Brazilian has been a pivotal figure in the team's attack over the last couple of seasons as he, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi have scored a combined 215 goals since the summer of 2014.

There were rumours that Manchester United were trying to lure Neymar to Old Trafford for some time, but it is believed that the 24-year-old has committed his future to the Catalan giants.

According to ESPN Brasil, the attacker signed on the dotted line in December, but Barcelona have not yet officially announced the new contract due to the ongoing legal dispute regarding Neymar's tax issues in Spain and Brazil.

The forward moved to Camp Nou from Santos in 2013.
