Kadeem Harris hoping to leave his mark at Barnsley

Barnsley winger Kadeem Harris reveals that he is enjoying life at his new club after joining on loan from Cardiff City.

Kadeem Harris has declared that joining Barnsley on loan was a "no-brainer" and has vowed to bring the good times back to his new club.

The Cardiff City winger linked up with the Tykes last week on an initial 93-day loan deal.

After playing the final 30 minutes of Barnsley's goalless draw against Bradford, Harris has now targeted more regular playing time during his short-term stint in Yorkshire.

"I would have liked to get a goal or assist but there's plenty of time," he told the club's official website. "We've got lots of games coming up and, hopefully, I can contribute to the team's success in the future.

"It's been a quick move for me and as soon as I heard Barnsley wanted me I was interested straight away. The gaffer asked me if I would have liked to come here and I said yes, I've enjoyed it so far.

"I think I'll enjoy my time here. When a manager has faith in you and your ability the move is a no-brainer and it made up my decision. I think I'm a crowd pleaser who contributes going forward and be positive in my play. Hopefully in the next three months I can do what I said and bring the team success."

Harris joined Cardiff from Wycombe Wanderers in 2012, but has since struggled to hold down a starting spot in the Bluebirds' first team.
