Pep Guardiola: 'We need patience for Mario Gotze'

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola urges patience for "unbelievable" Mario Gotze.

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has hailed Mario Gotze as "unbelievable" but admitted that he needs time to reach his peak.

The Bayern boss wants the club's supporters to show patience with the 21-year-old as he settles into the club following his move from Borussia Dortmund in the summer

"[Gotze] is an unbelievable player," Guardiola told Bild.

"He is intelligent and clever in the penalty area. He just needs more time. He's on the right track. He just needs a few games to be at his best."

Guardiola's side are currently top of the Bundesliga.
