Borussia Dortmund will reportedly no longer allow Andre Schurrle to leave the club on loan due to an injury to Andrey Yarmolenko.

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly decided against allowing Andre Schurrle to leave the club on loan.

The Germany international was heavily linked with Swansea City, who were thought to be keen on signing him on a two-year loan.

According to Sky Sports News, the Bundesliga outfit were open to offloading Schurrle on a temporary basis, but plans have changed since Andrey Yarmolenko suffered an injury in training.

As well as Swansea, the attacking player was also touted as a possible target for Premier League sides Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion.

Schurrle has started just two Bundesliga games this season.
