Borussia Monchengladbach centre-back Alvaro Dominguez has revealed that he is feeling good having missed the last three months with a shoulder injury.
Dominguez suffered the injury during a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund and has not featured in competitive action since, watching from the sidelines as his side moved up to third in the Bundesliga table.
The 24-year-old is not expecting to walk straight back into the starting lineup, but is happy that he is fit again ahead of the second half of the campaign.
"After being out for nearly three months, I feel really good. I've never been injured for that long, so I have to fight my way back [into the first-team set-up]. I'm back to full fitness and I'm settling back into the team, which is important," Dominguez told the Bundesliga's official website.
Gladbach will resume their campaign this Friday when they face runaway league leaders Bayern Munich.
